I've been silent about this for over 22 years. In the late 80's I directed a video shoot in Los Angeles on one of many, Crystal Conventions. There, I met the guardians of the Mitchell-Hedges Crystal Skull, Nick Nocerino and Ann Mitchell-Hedges. Both of these people have since passed away. Ann was the daughter of F. Mitchell-Hedges, the explorer who allegedly discovered the skull in Belize. I met Ann and talked with her. She was a dignified, sweet lady who told the story of finding the skull deep within a cavity in a Mayan Temple under excavation in Belize. She told a story about how she shot an intruder in her tent during that dig. I got permission to film close up video of Ann and the skull as long as my intentions were pure and I didn't exploit the film for monetary gain. My impression of Ann was that she was honest, guileless and very sincere. It seems a great stretch to me that she would care to be involved in or perpetrate a hoax for so long and with such conviction. What is so hard about trying to take her at her word? Regarding the recent science explaining the crafting of the skull, I ask, is this research iron clad? Can there be other explanations for the findings. Is it possible that the skull may have been tampered with to produce the so called modern evidence of carborundum? Here's a link to the latest story on the skull from a debunkers perspective:

I saw the skull for quite some time and from very close up. The workmanship on it is extraordinary. Wouldn't you think that counterfeiters would try to make the thing look hand made or rough to some extent to render a veneer of believability? I saw a near perfect piece of art that emanated a strong felt presence.

Proposal For Art Project at Burning Man

I've started to get some favorable responses from one person within the Burning Man organization for an art project involving the demolition of the giant word "truth" constructed from steel i-beams and destroyed by computer timed thermate cutter charges. Burning Man is a high visibility art spectacle that oftentimes manages to feature thought provoking works of art on a large scale. I believe that the proposal I outline here can draw more attention to the notion of thermate cutter charges being used to bring down the World Trade buildings. What I need from interested folks on this blog are contacts to qualified demo companies that may be interested in teaming with me and providing technical assistance, Links for possible funders & other considerations you deem worthy. I will attempt to secure an art grant from the Burning Man Art Foundation, though it may be a little late for that. I just got the idea for this. International and national news attention usually follows around this type of thing at Burning Man, so it can become very interesting. You can contact me through my brightpathvideo website.

911 Prayer Intention

Was blind, but now I see. "

John Newton penned these words around the time he experienced an ‘awakening’ around the early 19th century.
He had been the captain of a slave ship. During a violent storm at sea, he experienced a shift in consciousness. Soon after, he renounced slave running for an altogether different way of life.

Outer transformations are really inner transformations. How does this happen? What makes a Daniel Elsberg decide to risk career and personal freedom to publish a disturbing classified account of America’s darker reasons for engaging in the Vietnam War?
What causes any whistle blower to take the sometime life threatening risk of revealing truths that would otherwise never see the light of day? It is, in short, the higher mind at work.

Positive prayer or focused intention is a way for the universal to operate on the level of a well placed, well crafted thought put to its highest use. The Transcendentalists spoke of the “over soul”, a kind of unifying principle. There is a commonality in experience. Making contact with the source of that commonality, is to share some of its attributes, namely, the shaping of higher thoughts. Higher thoughts vibrate at a different frequency that tends to lift up the atmosphere of general thought. Grace is the constant movement in all sentient beings towards a higher expression of itself. In times of great troubles, many minds converge with thoughts of peace and solution. These deeply felt longings are what’s at work especially now, in the time we live. We can re-create what we have created. The complexity of what we have created can be worked with and set to balance.

It is with these thoughts and realizations that I offer the following “idea”, craving for implementation.

Whether you choose to believe it or not, events around the attacks of September 11, 2001 are clouded in darkness. Voices that have asked for a deeper and more thorough look into the causes and details of this event have raised many unanswered questions and largely been ignored by the press and dominant thought in the public mind. Yet the questions keep coming through the crevices that are afforded to them at the moment.
Suppose there is some truth to the thought that Government knowingly permitted the attacks to happen and even embellished them in order to achieve what it thought was the highest good of those they represent? If true, then there would be momentous consequences for the acts and directions this country has taken since then. If true, the only way to reset the course, would be to manifest a complete and honest account of what happened. South Africa’s Truth and Reconciliation policy is a working model for how this can work.

To help the possibility of truth unraveling in this country, a pointed and well crafted prayer designed to function for the highest good, is put forth; use it like a prayer wheel.

The Prayer

Being that we are all intimately connected by our common inheritance of shared life on one planet and that our common shared higher intelligence governs life in both seen and unseen ways, and being that this common ancestry has its roots in cosmic intelligence or mind, and being that we therefore incarnate with this shared higher intelligence, we share its creative power as well. We are imbued with this creativity and its commonality.

As an outlet, voice, individual manifestation and aspiration for this cosmic intelligence, I claim the highest thought of calling forth truth telling on an unprecedented scale in the minds and hearts in high levels of government and other individuals. I call forth the energizing of personal courage where it matters the most to catalyze this movement of truth telling on a grand scale. I know that truth telling is at the foundation of healthy individual as well as a healthy societal life. I know that what has gone astray can be righted by a personal and public, fearless embrace of the truth, with safety for the truth teller.. The deepest space in the heart of all people knows this to be true and wants it revealed without delay. The refined and subtle physics for this is already in place and happening at this moment.

For this I give my deepest and profoundest thanks.
I release this prayer this intention this shared spark of light into the creative mind running through us all and through all of life. Happily, I know the glory of its fulfillment is accomplished already in ways unimaginable and realizable.

And so it is.

Internet consumer behavior information provider, http://comscore.com recently reported that in January of 2007, 123 million users in the US watched 7.2 billion (that’s ‘billion’) videos online. The population of the US is about 298,444,215. 123 million, better than a third of this total population were watching videos on the internet. That’s amazing.

Today, Feb. 18, 2007, a few workers, some with their heads covered by paper bags, staged a small demonstration outside of Burning Man headquarters in San Francisco to protest what they say are reductions in pay, forced "death waivers" and lack of adequate health care for the workers who primarily clean the desert up after the Burning Man event.

Many people who are whistle blowers have a grudge against the corporation they work for. The point here is that Burning Man is now a large theatrical production, akin to a haunted house or other participatory theater event. They are a legal entity that has a large impact on our economy and the culture. This is a big responsibility.

It seems that there are legitimate concerns about their labor practices and treatment of workers. This is not the kind of thing an organization should try to sidestep. If this is the first time these concerns have been raised, they should confront them in public, through a public process. Any organization that has workers needs to abide by a minimum code of ethics and standards because they are responsible for the health and wellbeing of their people—independent contractor or not.

Any time you have this many people participating in an event, bad things will happen. That is not the problem. The problem arises when the organization responsible for the infrastructure of the event handles these bad things in an immoral way. It seems that there is enough information, based on the above comments, to warrant further investigation of the labor practices of Burning Man.

The event is very fun, and the majority of the people are good folks who want to have a good time. Burning Man (the organization) shouldn’t create an environment where worker injuries, workplace safety issues, unfair pay and unfair employment practices interfere with the running of a healthy culture/business.

We didn't film any clapper rails this 16th day of February, 2007, but we did capture some of the variety of bird life on the creek near the proposed site of a giant indoor soccer complex & outdoor baseball field. The serenity and wildlife habitat of this locale begs for a more sensitive treatment of the land.
