Clapper Rail In Front Of Proposed Soccer Complex
On Oct 7, 2006, brightpathvideo filmed more clapper rail sightings on Gallinas Creek, San Rafael, CA. This time, one was spied feeding on the upper reaches of the creek near the Frank Llyod Wright Civic Center and (this is important) right in front of the proposed 4 acre indoor soccer facility off the west part of the north split of the creek at GPS N38.00.49.9, W 122.31.38.6
Pile driving, outdoor lighting, thousands of car trips, bridge alterations and ever present loud noise levels will have a deleterious effect on this, the bay's largest concentration of federally endangered clapper rails.

September 27th, 2006 7:00-9:00pm
Student Services Building , College of Marin , Kentfield, CA
Questions and Answers in Part 2
The Center for Judicial Excellence, or CJE, is a community-based organization established to improve the Marin judiciary's public accountability and restore and maintain the integrity of Marin County courts.
Our courts have been the subject of complaints, stories, headlines, inquiries and audits (both internal and external) for many years. We think there needs to be greater communication and collaboration between the Courts and the Marin community. We'd like to know what's being done to improve our Courts and how the community can offer support.

Latest Clapper Rail Sighting on Gallinas Creek
The endangered California Clapper Rail is under threat from a construction project to build a huge indoor soccer stadium near its prime habitat. City of San Rafael environmental impact studies have been criticized for not being thorough enough in their assessments of the impacts on the rails. Video evidence such as what is presented here is proof that the rails use a much wider area of activity than the developer is willing to acknowledge. This footage was shot on Monday, Sept 25th 2006 on the southern end of Gallinas Creek in Marin County California.

Spiritual Activism in Action See How
Positive prayer or focused intention is a way for the universal to operate on the level of a well placed, well crafted thought put to its highest use. The Transcendentalists spoke of the “over soul”, a kind of unifying principle. There is a commonality in experience. Making contact with the source of that commonality, is to share some of its attributes, namely, the shaping of higher thoughts. Higher thoughts vibrate at a different frequency that tends to lift up the atmosphere of general thought. Grace is the constant movement in all sentient beings towards a higher expression of itself. In times of great troubles, many minds converge with thoughts of peace and solution. These deeply felt longings are what’s at work especially now, in the time we live. We can re-create what we have created. The complexity of what we have created can be worked with and set to balance.
